The Siuslaw Public Library District, located on the Central Oregon
Coast, seeks to replace our retiring full-time Director to administer a
recently renovated and expanded main facility in Florence and a small
branch overlooking the Siuslaw River in Mapleton.  The Library District
serves a population of 17,000 residents.  The position is responsible
for providing professional library administration, working with 9 FTE
staff and the Library District Board of Directors to develop and
implement goals and policies.  The applicant is required to possess a
MLS degree and 5 years of professional library experience.  Salary range
is $60-80,000 with excellent benefits.  Further information and a full
