Forwarding on behalf of the Steve May of Keizer Community Library:

The Keizer Community Library needs a volunteer to move boxed books to storage for our twice yearly book sales (May and October). Here is a list of the specific tasks that need to be performed:

1. Using a handtruck or rolling cart (provided), move boxed books to the Library's storage room in the Keizer Civic Center. Stack the boxes in the room neatly. (The person who takes on this job must be able to lift boxes of books weighing 30 to 40 pounds.) Time committment would be about an hour or so per week, depending on the number of boxes.

2. Assist with book sale set-ups and take-downs as needed and arrange for the disposition of all unsold materials at the end of the sales. The Library's Board of Directors will give guidance regarding the disposition of unsold items. Time committment would range from ten to twelve hours per year.

Training will be provided
