[Libs-Or] Early Literacy LSTA project in Umatilla County

Kat Davis, director of the Pendleton Public Library and mastermind of an LSTA grant that will provide both early literacy education and college incentives, was able to share a brief description of the project for the Governor yesterday in Pendleton http://www.opb.org/news/article/kitzhaber-connects-with-preschool-programs/
We are watching this project very carefully and hope it is successful so we can expand the concept to other areas of the state. I'm sure Kat would be glad to fill you in on more detail.
