   Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) is planning on introducing legislation that
would fully authorize the Innovative Approaches to Literacy (IAL) grant
program (see legislation<http://capwiz.com/ala/utr/1/BYPYTBLFOL/KXRXTBLFRQ/9585936986>).

IAL is a crucial program that funds competitive grants for underserved
school libraries. The money can be used in a variety of ways, including
updating materials.

Please ask your two senators to co-sponsor Sen. Reed's legislation. You can
