This message below was just sent out to the iSchool community about Eliza Dresang. Please feel free to forward it to other library colleagues who might want to know.

I encourage anyone who knew her to visit the memorial website to leave a few words. Her family and friends will be reading it, and I know they would appreciate hearing from her colleagues and friends in the library community.
We will miss her very much.

Dear friends

It is with a very heavy heart that I share the tragic news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague Eliza Dresang. As you know, Eliza has been bravely facing a battle with cancer.  I know that this news is deeply distressing for each of you. I share your overwhelming sadness.

The iSchool has set up a website in remembrance of Eliza. I invite you to visit this website and to leave some words of tribute to Eliza or to simply read the comments of others and to view a set of images that capture a selection of Eliza's outstanding contributions and accomplishments.
