You’ll learn the best practices for securely using four types of apps—cloud storage, password managers, to-do lists, and notes—to manage your personal and professional information. You’ll come out of the workshop with practical tips for how to keep your information safe and walk away with suggestions on how to set up a system using these four types of apps, so your important information is always at your fingertips. Hennig will focus on Dropbox, 1Password, Wunderlist, and Evernote as the best-in-class, cross-platform examples. Each of these apps works on multiple platforms, including desktop and mobile, and can be kept in sync easily. Quality alternatives to these apps (such as Box, LastPass, Any.do, and OneNote) will be offered.
