Position available: Librarian - Tenure Track, Mt. Hood Community College, Gresham, OR



Mt. Hood Community College invites applications from enthusiastic and service-oriented librarians for the position of Tenure Track Faculty Librarian. This faculty position will work closely with the Dean and other members of the library team to develop and provide a program of comprehensive information literacy instruction for the students, faculty and staff of MHCC. The librarian will also serve as a member of the reference and collection management team, as well as represent the library on various leadership committees.



Minimum Qualifications:



ALA-accredited master's degree in library science; three years of experience as a professional librarian; experience in developing and delivering information literacy instruction; experience in general reference and public information work.



Preferred Qualifications:



Five years of experience in higher education/academic library; significant working experience serving community college students; experience coordinating, scheduling, and assessing an information literacy instruction program; experience performing collection development in an academic library.



Salary: $53,195 annually
