The UO Portland Library and Learning Commons is located inside the historic White Stag complex at the University of Oregon Portland campus. We serve 400 graduate students along with staff and faculty in support of 10 major degree programs, institutes, and a variety of research centers. The 2-story library contains 10,000 bound volumes, most from the former Portland Architecture Library in support of the Architecture programs. Today we serve a diverse student population including those within Historic Preservation, Product Design, Sports Product Design, Sports Product Management, Oregon Executive MBA, Multimedia Journalism, Strategic Communication, and 3rd year Law.

The Portland Library and Learning Commons includes a computer classroom, study rooms, an Output Room with large format printing services, and support for academic computing and technologies in 35 classroom and event spaces. Our service desk provides a single point of access for reference and research help, technology support, equipment loans, and access to a wealth of library resources. Access services functions include service desk management, circulation processes including interlibrary transactions, stacks maintenance, opening/closing procedures. This position reports to the Technology and Access Services Manager, Portland Library and Learning Commons.
