This is a last call for applications for the State Library's Workforce Development Partnership Grants Program<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/lstagrants/workforce>. Applications are due this Friday, December 17, 2021.

The State Library is eager to fund projects that seek to create or strengthen existing relationships libraries have with WorkSource or any other agencies, campus departments, or any other organizations working to build workforce skills or support job seekers.


  *   Need some funding to improve meeting spaces for local groups that need space for mentoring or coaching?
  *   Want to beef up your Library of Things or Makerspace in collaboration with community organizations working to build skills for future employment?

The State Library is announcing its Workforce Development Partnership Grants<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/lstagrants/workforce> program to provide small grants to fund library collaborations with local WorkSource offices<https://www.worksourceoregon.org/contact#centers>, workforce development agencies, or community organizations.

In these challenging times, libraries can be better positioned to support job seekers and those seeking to develop more diverse workforce skills when they partner with organizations that are also working with these groups.

With a short application<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/ld.php?content_id=63869634> and brief reporting requirements, this grant program offers libraries the opportunity to request up to $5,000 to support collaborations with the purchase of

  *   laptop or desktop computers (See requirements<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/lstagrants/cipa>)
  *   supporting equipment (scanner, printers, cameras, microphones)
  *   services (trainers/speakers)
  *   supplies (promotional materials, paper, ink cartridges, software or workstation furniture/equipment for ADA compliance)

The application period will be open until December 17, 2021 or until grant funds have been exhausted. Grant applications will be reviewed as they are received and applicants will be notified within 2 weeks of submission whether they are awarded funding.
