As the Circulation Technician, you will carry out functions in support of the circulation operations of the Talking Book and Braille Library that provide library users with the books and equipment needed for service. These functions include the incoming and outgoing daily mail operations, quality inspection of books and equipment, and equipment supply and repair. Please Note: This position is part-time (approximately 25 hours per week), and the successful candidate would be paid at an hourly rate of $15.71 - $19.84.


What We Are Looking For

A collaborative self-starter with experience or training which provided a basic knowledge of the organization of a library; AND one of the following:

  *   One year of experience in a business and office environment that demonstrates use of office equipment, filing and sorting alphabetically and numerically, general knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and arithmetic; OR
  *   Completion of training or courses in Office Technology; OR
  *   One year of experience in a library or related setting; OR
  *   Two years of college coursework in any discipline.
