Join a collaborative, creative, student-focused team in the Pacific
University Libraries! We are currently seeking applicants for a part-time
(30 hrs/wk) Circulation Supervisor.



The Circulation Supervisor helps manage the day-to-day circulation
activities at the Tran Library on the Forest Grove campus, assisting
students, faculty, and staff; in addition to training, and supervising a
team of student employees.  This work is done in collaboration with the
Circulation Manager and another Circulation Supervisor.  This position has
thorough knowledge of established library procedures and technical systems;
and works collaboratively with Circulation, Interlibrary Loan, Collection
Services, and Systems staff located on the Forest Grove and Hillsboro
campuses in support of library-wide functions and operations. This is a
permanent, part-time, benefit-eligible position, working 30 hours per week,
with regularly scheduled shifts primarily during afternoons and evenings,
with one weekend day per week.  Occasional additional hours may be required
to assist with staffing coverage, and hours during intersessions and summer
will vary in conjunction with open library hours. The expected starting
schedule for this position is Wednesdays 12-6pm, Thursdays 11:30am-8pm,
Fri/Sat 12:30-9pm.
