I wanted to make sure this got out:
We must take time to acknowledge the land we live on was taken from our Indigenous brothers and sisters through violence and deceit; the wealth which built our country was made off the backs of our BIPOC brothers and sisters; the wealth which sustains our country is taken from the lives of all working people; and the persecution our LGBTQIA+ brothers and sisters suffer simply for being who they are. We must work toward equity for all who are marginalized and othered in America.
