Hi Darci, yes, I’m totally okay with that. I’ve spent the last year diving into AI and ethics and will be teaching a course about it this fall for undergrads. I’m always happy to help on this topic (especially because it helps me demonstrate in my reports to admin why this learning and expertise is necessary in a library). Thanks!

When considering using AI notetakers for meetings, I would like to point out some potential risks. First, you want to be sure that you have everyone’s permission. Second, the notes may saved by the host and then used to train AI models, so privacy may be a concern.
