As the OHSU Library<https://www.ohsu.edu/library/>'s next Access Services Coordinator, you will be a service-oriented, public-facing, forward-looking lead worker responsible for meeting the needs of library users. In this position, you will staff the Library's Service Desk, provide support in person, over the phone, and via e-mail and chat to the faculty, staff, and researchers in the OHSU community as well as the general public. You will also serve as the primary backup to the Library's interlibrary loan and document delivery coordinator.



In this role, you will support the Library's mission, vision, and values by working effectively and collaboratively with a diverse student, faculty, staff, and public population. You will need excellent customer service skills, a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment, comfort with technical troubleshooting, and the ability to use independent judgment in applying appropriate policies and procedures. As a lead worker, you will have a high degree of autonomy in your work, the opportunity to participate in or lead projects within the department and across the Library, and have room to develop new knowledge and skills to improve library services and processes.



*         Work schedule:  9:15 am to 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday

*         Work location:  OHSU Marquam Hill campus in Portland, OR (onsite work required)

*         Union  representation: AFSCME Local 328

*         Salary: Commensurate with experience, minimum $26.90 per hour.
