Reminder to complete MyOEBB EE Plan Management by Friday, June 17th!

Hello,

Welcome to EE Plan Management for the 2016-17 plan year. EE Plan Management opened Monday, May 16th and continues through Friday, June 17th. Our goal is to provide you with a quick update on the status of the plans and rates for the 2016-17 plan year and let you know MyOEBB is ready for the 2016-17 plan selection process. The Board met on April 26th and approved the plan offerings, benefit changes, and rates for the upcoming 2016-17 plan year. For access to the rates and plan offerings, click on the link below:

The Board made several changes to the medical and vision plan offerings from Moda. Please click on the link below for highlights of these changes:

Some of the changes explained in the document link above include the expiration of Moda Medical and Vision Plans and the creation of new Moda Medical and Vision Plans:

A change that will affect EE Plan Management this year is the expansion of the Moda Synergy Network medical plan options into the following counties:

  *   Douglas
  *   Deschutes
  *   Crook
  *   Jefferson

This means that either the Summit or Synergy Network plans are available to OEBB members in all counties with the exception of Coos and Curry. The Moda Alder PPO Medical Plan is available in Coos and Curry counties because it is not available as part of the Synergy network in these areas. In all other counties the Moda Alder plan is available as part of the Summit or Synergy networks.

Moda Medical Plans Alder through Dogwood (PPO, Summit or Synergy) can be used independently or with an HRA, but Moda Evergreen Plan (PPO, Summit or Synergy) must be paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA) at the employee level.

Kaiser Permanente opened their newest facility, Valley River Dental in Eugene. This gives entities access to Kaiser Dental in Lane County in addition to the existing Kaiser service area. Your entity can select this newest Kaiser Dental Plan offering without having to select Kaiser Medical or Vison Plans.

The Summit, Synergy and Kaiser Permanente plans will be available for selection based on the zip code of your entity. If these plans are available in your area, you will be able to select them as a plan option. If you would like to add a plan that isn't available in your area, please contact OEBB by email at oebb.benefits at oregon.gov<mailto:oebb.benefits at oregon.gov> or by phone at 1-888-469-6322 for assistance. OEBB will be happy to review your request and guide your entity with decisions.

Open enrollment is required this year. All OEBB members will be required to re-enroll in medical, dental and vision coverages for 2016-17 during the 2016 Open Enrollment period to have coverage (or to opt-out or waive coverage) for themselves and their eligible dependents. Life, disability, AD&D and long term care plans and employee assistance program (EAP) elections will continue without re-enrollment.

We ask that entity administrators enter the MyOEBB Administrative Module during this time to review new plan offerings for their employee groups and select plans. OEBB staff is hosting many online Insurance Committee Webinars over the next month as well as making information available online in video and PDF formats.
