Hello Doctors, Chiropractic Assistants, and DC Applicants,

On November 13th the Board of Chiropractic Examiners is going to launch its new website. The site will have an entirely new look. I am attaching to this email three screenshots (one document) of the new site so you can become a little familiar with it beforehand (these are only a few of the pages). Remember, these are screenshots, so clicking on links or buttons will not produce a new page.

If you have bookmarked any of our pages on the current (soon-to-be-old) site, you should be redirected to the new pages. If not, feel free to give me a call to help you find what you need.

Starting from the home page (the first screenshot):

1. Across the very top of the page, you can find shortcuts to frequently used pages - the Licensee Lookup, Online Renewal, Contact Us, etc.

2. Still viewing the top of the page, look to the far right to see the "magnifying glass" signifying a search tool. Using this search tool will provide you with results found on the OBCE's website, ONLY - not the entire Oregon.gov site as before.

3. EVERYTHING "Doctor of Chiropractic" will be found under Licensing & CE. This means, all information for applicants, exam, renewal and continuing education.

4. Similarly EVERYTHING "Chiropractic Assistant" will be found under Licensing & CE (applications, training, certificate renewal info, CE)

The second screenshot shows what you will see (for example) when you click on Doctor of Chiropractic. And, each blue link on the page opens to provide still more information on that topic.

The last screenshot is the new look of our Licensee Lookup. Users will still receive the same results as the previous version, but this is so much cleaner.

Other tidbits,

*         You can always return to the home page by clicking on "Board of Chiropractic Examiners" in the header;

*         You can find meeting notices and minutes directly from the home page, or from any page;

* You can search Chapter 811 of the Oregon Administrative Rules by key words

I hope this overview of the new site encourages you to use it, and not be discourage by the change. I will help you however I can.
