Advanced and Strategic Integration of Mindfulness into Psychotherapy:
The "Basic Mindfulness Toolkit" 

This workshop offers an introduction to The Five Ways of Mindfulness and
three techniques for handling common issues that arise in psychotherapy
treatment. This workshop is designed for therapists with mindfulness
experience and interest in new techniques, or consultation about
application strategies.

Emerging Trends in Ecotherapy

This experiential workshop provides an orientation to the historical
background and theoretical approaches associated with ecotherapy.
Participants will learn applications of ecotherapy in counseling and
healthcare settings and opportunities for integrating ecotherapy
practices into their personal and professional lives.

Date: Friday, April 8, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Communication Skills for the Helping Professions

The processes underlying "compassionate communication" (also known as
nonviolent communication) have many applications for those in the
"helping" professions, specifically teachers and counselors. This
workshop will offer opportunities to experience the process, as well as
provide a variety of tools that can be immediately useful in building
authentic, trusting relationships that support growth.
