1-Day Facilitator Training for Couples Counseling and Marriage Preparation
Announcing an upcoming 1-day workshop in Portland, OR to train facilitators for Prepare-Enrich couples assessment and counseling.
What is Prepare-Enrich?  Prepare-Enrich is a scientifically validated Assessment and Relational Skill-Building Tool for couples at any stage of relationship: dating, engaged, or married. Couples can only take the on-line customized survey through a trained facilitator (YOU).
As a facilitator, you will learn to:

  *            Register couple for the on-line assessment
  *            Interpret the couple's and facilitator report
  *            Provide the couple meaningful feedback on their report
  *            Guide the couple through exercises
  *           Teach couples proven relationship skill building tools

Who is this training appropriate for? This training is not open to the public. This training is intended for those who have other training and qualifications to provide counseling and guidance. This 1-day training is to learn to use this specific assessment tool to support your counseling and guidance work.  Appropriate workshop attendants include:

  *            Licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals,
  *            Mental health graduate students ready to begin counseling clients
  *            Clergy and mentoring couples in religious organizations
  *           Therapy and Counseling educators
When is the training?  Friday September 27th 9AM to 4PM, snacks provided, lunch on your own
Where? TaborSpace located at 5441 SE Belmont St. Portland OR 97215 - free parking available
Workshop Cost: $175 if registered by 9/13; or $185 for late registration till 9/23

Although this training is available as on-line self-study, joining a workshop gives you the extra benefit of learning from other participants.
