Trans Families: It’s Everyone’s Transition
Friday-Saturday, September 12-13, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Instructor: Reid Vanderburgh, M.A.
When a person transitions from one gender role/bodily sex to another, everyone they are close to also undertakes their own form of transition. This course will examine the nature of transition from the perspective of family members/close friends. This course requires no prior knowledge of trans issues and is designed for counselors, therapists and other mental healthcare professionals, school counselors, and staff at family services agencies.
