30 hours of specialized training* ($25 fee for CEUs)

Saturday, September 13, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Friday, September 26, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Saturday, September 27, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Juliette’s House – Child Abuse Intervention Center

This comprehensive 30 hour workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of play therapy, as well as to developments and advancements in clinical practice. In addition to historical foundations and theoretical models (including Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy for evidence-based practitioners), key topics will include familial, cultural, and ethical considerations. Experiential learning activities will illustrate essential concepts to enhance learner understanding. These 30 hours of specialized training* may be applied toward the 150 hours of play therapy specific instruction from APT-approved providers required for the Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor credentials offered by the Association for Play Therapy.

Fee: $275 for professionals; $100 for students (lunch on your own)
