[OMS_MANAGERS] flower basket watering programs

It depends on how often they water. We usually ask all the merchants to
chip in $20.00-$30.00 per month (more when it is warm for two+ times a
week.) Our baskets are on the facades not light poles so not all
businesses have them. This seemed the only fair way. My guess is that
you could do a more structured program using the same concept if it is
in the public right of way. I don't know about insurance issues.

We have used school teams, drama clubs,bands, etc who need to raise
money for trips. we make a donation. Very casual relationships-simple
agreements with responsible parent or representative. Very affordable,
not 100% reliable all the time. But in general, when we have the
baskets...it has worked well. Our program is very small.

I'm interesting in knowing if anyone out there has a flower basket
watering program in place in which you have a contract with a
third-party vendor to take care of the flower basket maintenance/
watering. If so, I'd like to see a copy of your agreement/ contract with
