The Dalles Main Street Program is doing our own spin on the cash mob
idea, with a recurring effort we call our "20/20 Program," where we use
any promotion avenues we have to encourage people to spend $20 at a
particular business on the 20th of the month. Today is our 2nd day-last
month, with no lead time and almost no promotion, the business owner
reported more than double her normal sales for that day.
