The Dalles Main Street Program is doing our own spin on the cash mob idea, with a recurring effort we call our “20/20 Program,” where we use any promotion avenues we have to encourage people to spend $20 at a particular business on the 20th of the month. Today is our 2nd day—last month, with no lead time and almost no promotion, the business owner reported more than double her normal sales for that day.
