Government Camp is the name of several populated places around the
world.

The one in Oregon is on the flanks of Mountain Hood. It is the 'gateway'
to several local winter sports areas, including the CCC built Timberline
Lodge.  There are others, perhaps most notably, the Govenment Camp near
Ballarat in Australia.
