In the Teens and early Twenties my parents used to take the Estacada trolley from near Oregon City up the Clackamas River to a camp ground where Dad loved to fish.  I think it was called Jennings Lodge, but I'm not sure.  Even in the 50's when I was a kid in Portland, there was an "InterUrban Trolley" from the East end of the Hawthorne Bridge to Oregon City.  I only rode it to the Oaks Amusement Park, but believe that there was a transfer point to the Estacada Trolley in Milwaukee.

  Clackamas County obtained its current boundaries in 1854.  Multnomah County and the city of Portland are just a few blocks North of Otty Road,  see:

  You might try searching or finding a volunteer to search the Clackamas County census for your family and looking also for the nearby Lion's (Farm) Family mentioned on your postcard:
