My ggggf George Washington Goodman was married to Margaret (Peggy) Bowen.  George b. 17 Apr 1779 in Cole Co. IL, d. 28 Sept 1853 in Coles Co. IL, Peggy b. abt 1803 in KY, d. 30 Dec 1867 in Coles Co. IL, 10 children Peggy and George were both of Scotcg/Irish Decent.  My family moved West from IL to IN and then to OR/WA border and then on to Oregon. My Dad (Duane C.Goodman) and my Grand Dad (P.W.) were Born in Oregon.
