Hi! I wrote quite a bit about the Leabos of Lincoln County in my book,
Sovereigns of Themselves: A Liberating History of Oregon And Its Coast. I got
my information directly from Bill McCluskey, a relative. It is hard to tell
with these accounts what is fact and what is "tall tales." I let the pioneers
speak for themselves. Can I use some of this information to flesh out what I've
got in my book and on my site? Connie Guardino
