Well I will tell you what I know about the Arnolds who came of the wagon train to Oregon, they came with the Leabo's, Gribbles
and Fishes. Elizabeth Leabo married Westley Arnold. One of her sisters married one of the Arnolds as well they came originaly
from Monroe Co. Ill. The Arnolds are listed in many of the documentation I have obtained. Jean, they ended up in the Dalles
and Dufur area. If this could be your line I would be happy to E-mail copies of what I have. Happy Holloween.

Subject: [or-roots] Line of Isaac Arnold
I guess it is about time I posted the line I am researching and quit just being interested in what the rest of you are doing. My g-g-grand parents were Isaac and Percellia Ann Hannah Arnold. They came by from Iowa in 1852 with Isaac's four children from his second marriage. They traveled by wagon train to Linn Co. via the Barlow Road. Perceilla had twins on the trail. The girl half of the set died and was buried where the Snake River and Willow Creek join near the Idaho border. The boy lived for some years longer and died as a child. They had a total of 15 children together with 12 born in Linn Co. Add this to the one Isaac sired with his first wife and five by the second makes him father to 21 but not all lived. I know quite a bit about the family from Isaac to present and some about his parents Thomas and Margaret Noel Arnold and Isaac's siblings. What I am so frustrated about is not being able to find who the parents, siblings, grandparents, etc of Thomas and Margaret were. Both were born in Virginia in the 1770's (Thomas @ 1778 and Margaret @ 1782). Anyone out there who can help me? I would also be willing to share the information I do have.
Thanks for any help!
Jean
