I had a hard time finding Delena on my state highway map, I was going to
tell you how many folks were there in the 1940 Census, but for some reason
the map makers at shell skipped Delena, it's on the map but not indexed and
so no census.

In case you are wondering, just got two boxes of stuff that belonged to the
widow of my namesake, and I have just one thing to say; LABEL ALL OF YOUR
PHOTOS!!! And as has been mentioned, full names please, not "Uncle Happy" or
the like.

I have no idea who most of the hundred or two photos have in them, I have
some clues as I should be able to recognize most of My side of the family so
figure most of them have to be Auntie's kin, most of whom I have never met.
Sad thing is my memory is so bad I don't even know them in a some of the
photos I suspect they are in.

I have two very attractive young women in studio photo printed in Portland
probably roughly 1920 to 1940, could be my own kin I don't recognize or
Aunties cousins or just a couple of friends? maybe a dozen photos of three
young ladies with bear rug, various apparently gag photos, also apparently
related 20 or thirty zoot suit model A riding young men and women in various
poses places with other photos, only label in whole bunch is "the rear of
the house" now doesn't that help me!!

Trust me unless you get me booted off the list you will be hearing more
about these boxes.

Oh, what I started to say is one of the "treasures" is a Shell state highway
map published in 1942.

I've never noticed it before but it shows up on my map about 6 miles east of
Clatskanie, OR on Hwy 30. I hope that helps.
