[or-roots] From left to right

Pictures are so precious to me because I lost everything but the shirt on my back in a 1991 house fire. This
is so ironic. I had been the keeper of my Scottish heritage family album for many years, with the
unfulfilled intention that I was going to have it rebound. My mother finally asked for it back just before
the fire! Had I not given it back, that side of the family would have gone up in flames. Pictures are our
most valued possessions because they usually cannot be replaced. I know my tragedy is somewhat off topic,
but I urge everyone to treat their photos like the precious gems that they are, and to take the time to
identify everyone in the pictures. Your family wealth is in these images.
