Earlier I told you about the Washington State Pioneers thing I found.  Well you guys probably know this already, but if you want to check Ancestor info from other states Just go on line and ask for:
The "specific State Pioneers" e.g. Idaho State Pioneers, Missouri State  Pioneers, etc.
It works pretty well as all States seem to have an organized System.
Since my ancestors came to the U.S. via Virginia, Kentucky, Texas, Oklahoma,Oregon.  I'm now hot on the tract of Dyes, Goodmans, McLane, and Pryers.
Also, My Goodman branch appears to have originated in Bedford England around 1557.  Well this didn't satisfy me so, again, I went on line and asked for Bedford England History.  WOW!  I got every thing, including the fact that Bedford and Bedfordshire were originated by the Danish Vikings! (after the Romans left.)
