In addition to your family history, I have also photocopied or scanned
pictures into my computer and printed them out and created a heritage
scrapbook. I couldn't see any reason to keep everything in a file and no
one be able to see it. I am in the process of doing one on my grandfather's
life and I have gotten more documentation and pictures of schools, etc.
Just to show the pictorial side of his life. I have probably done more
research for the scrapbook that I would have just for the genealogy stuff.
Its a lot of work, but fun to do if you have the time. I have his birth,
places of residence, his school years from 1st grade to graduation,
marriages, hobbies, occupations, and death. Its just a thought.

Congratulations! Everyone should leave a history for their family. Some
years ago a cousin wrote his family history in a manner that would be
understood 75+ years from now. i.e. described Boeing and the planes they
built. It is amazing what you can remember when you sit down and think
about it. Again I congratulate you for your work. Aileen

Mother and my Dad told me very little about my ancestors. That is why I got
into this Genealogy Stuff. I wish my Mom and Dad had told me more about
their life and Grand mothers and fathers. But they didn't.
