  I can recall the fireworks in what was a large stadium in downtown Portland, 1939.
  I had step cousin who was Queen of the 
  Festival circa about 1950, a then Kathy

    The only one I can remember is Mr Deitrich who was the Band and Orchetra Director. Incidently that was at Franklin Hi in Portland.  Before that I had been in the Band at Stadium Hi in Tacoma and Mr Deitrich was the Band Director There also.  When we Moved From Tacoma to Portland So did Mr. Deitrich.
    I marched in the Band for the Rose Parade in Portland and in the Dafodil Parade in Tacoma. I Played Trumpet. When ?-Oh about1945-48.
