HI Guys,
Bear of Very Little (Computer) Brain here.  I'm both sorry for taking so much 
of your time, and grateful for the input.  I can't begin to explain any of 
this, so I just copied and pasted the message  I received that prompted it all.  
(All of you non-AOL people may have a point - and I thank you for those

Hello everyone,

I just received the following notice from AOL (several times -- once for each
post that tried to go through the ORWasco List to you), letting me know that 
you
won't be receiving any more mail from Rootsweb lists, or at least not those on
the "lists2" server, such as ORWasco. This is being sent to all of you who use
AOL because your addresses were shown on the rejection notice, but I am 
sending
it to you as a "blind carbon copy" so you can't see each others' addresses 
(for
your privacy).

It would be great if you would forward it on to AOL, whichever address they 
tell
you to use for urgent email problems. After a certain number of bounced emails
that fail to make it all the way to you, you will automatically be 
unsubscribed
from all Rootsweb lists that are affected by this. It might be worth your
trouble to scream at AOL for doing this to you. It isn't the first time it has
happened, but I'm getting tired of having to write to them every time they 
take
a notion to do this & it will ultimately be upset subscribers that convince 
the
powers that be to stop messing with your Rootsweb subscriptions. They will
listen to you much more readily than they will listen to me, if you explain to
them that you voluntarily subscribed to the Rootsweb lists & therefore don't
need to be "protected" from them.
