[or-roots] stupid laws

Last night a mystery  motorcycle policeman was seen chasing a high speed street bike for some
time, through red lights, on the sidewalk, and just
as suddenly the officer dissapeared, the biker
dumped his and ran into a housing complex.
A review of the tapes indicates the police unit
was not of local assignment?  His driving would
not have mean much to an ORGEON  pedestrian.

Walt do you recall when they used to pull in the
wooden sidewalks at night?

  In Oregon A pedestrian has the right of way over vehicles on the sidewalk.
