Found your response to David very interesting, My father's family traces back to Chief James of the Lapwai Band, and supposedly there is a relationship between him and Chief Joseph, also one of our family members say's there is a relationship of our family to Redheart.
Many of my relatives are buried in the Jacques Spur Cemetery at Jacques Spur Idaho and I plan on going over the 1st of May to cleanup the cemetery.

By the way I believe Peck Id. put out a Centennial History a while back, I seen a notice on it in the Nez Perce Idaho inquiry board, it may have info in it, I know Culdesac Put out one on there Centennial and I found a lot of info on my family in it.
