Deloris;

Do you have any more info, like what part of the state she might have been
from, or where they went in Kentucky, I tried the 1920 Kentucky Census and
of the eleven Samuel hamilton's none of them had a wife born in Oregond and
the closest in name was a 20 something woman named Ella.

There are 923 heads of household in the 1900 Oregon Census named Brown and
1677 in the 1910 Census, I checked the 23 "Indian" heads of household in the
1910 census and found no child named Louella in any of those households.

Of course with a name like Brown, this is going to be real tough unless you
get lucky and hit somebody who knows who she is.

No luck in searching Oregon archives.

Okay; strike all I said here and just erased, decided to google this before
I replied and found stuff you had posted elsewhere;

Ancestry;

Trying to find info on birth of Louella Brown born 1898 or 1899 in Oregon.
When small moved to Kentucky where she married Samuel Hamilton 6-28-1951 in
Morgan County Kentucky. She was an Indian, What tribe I don't know.
If anyone knows anything about her or her family, I would greatly appericate
the info.

Mary Belle Fraley was my grandmother Effie's oldest sister. Effie was the
youngest. I have a family reunion on November 2 and will ask if anyone knows
any additional information.

If you want to contact me, my email is rhonda.burnett at ncr.com.

Okay this gets weirder and weirder, looking in Morgan County in 1900 I find
one Robinson Hamilton b. Jan 1882 ma Belle b. Mar 1878; married 8 count them
eight years with dau Syntha b. Dec 1894, son Samuel b. May 1897 and son
Benjamin b. 1882. now it looks to me like there was some confusion, I think
the Census taker got Ben's birth date and his dad's confused because it
looks like the original age for Dad was 46, if I can get this blasted image
into photoshop without it crashing I might be able to come to some
conclusions about her age, but I am betting Robinson was born in 1864.

Even though I have Sam's age and looking in Morgan county I still was unable
to find him, but I only got part way through the fifty or so likely Hamilton
Households in 1920 looking for him, but the 24 year old Samuel married to
Ella IS there her and her parents birth place listed as Kentucky??

Trying 1880 Census for Reuben Hamilton I find only one(unless we are looking
for a black family?);

				  Marital						Father's      Mother's

I would suspect your folks managed to avoid getting in the Census way too
well for me to be able to help you out.

Sorry about that

or 1902.
She was an Indian. She left Oregon when she was around 12 or 13. And
