We don't have much on my grandmother, Louella Brown. Always thought she
was from Kentucky, But just found out she was born in Oregon. Don't know
what Indian tribe or anything. Not real sure of Date of Birth. Could be
between 1898 to 1902. Still have one aunt living and she said that
grandma wouldn't talk much about her past. Only that her dad was an old
crow. Not sure if that means Crow Indian or not.
Most of Louella Browns papers were in Kentucky. She married grandpa
Hamilton in 1915 ( at age 13?) She is in 1920 census as Ella. Papers the
funeral home has about her death states b. Feb 23, 1902 Died May 4,
1945. And that she was a Cherokee Indian. She was married to a Raymond
Bragg sometime after 1932. Lived in West Virginia at time of death.
Samuel Hamilton was from Morgan County Kentucky. Have traced  the
Hamiltons as far  back as Benjamin Hamilton and Susannah (Moonglow)
Hurst. 
Am beginning to Wonder if any of it is right.
