Maybe said Kelso, Wash (for Washington).

Kelso/Longview is 40-50 miles from Portland and Portland might have been the
nearest major medical facilities so place of death was Portland but they
were taken home to Washington for burial.

 Sue, thank you for the information. I really think the family is right. On
the photo that Aino has sended, she has written .. our
house (before I red Keko Isash, but it's really) Kelso... and yes, the girls
Joyce and Gloria are younger than Richard. I didn't have an idea of another
daughters.
