[or-roots] Government Ration Stamps 1940s

One day Mother took the greyhound bus to Sacramento to get 4 tires for the  
car (you could not get 5 at that time) when she got back to the bus to go home  
every man there was ready an willing to help the young mother with her tires. 
 she said that they patted them like they were kids. tires were real hard to 
get  during the war.
