Sorry for all the conversations Helen
   Portland has no micro films past 1903.
Maybe an old news paper and would have to be in person to make a search.
    We found lots of use at the university in Monmouth,I know the Salem
Library has them on micro, but not how far back.
   Maybe some transcriber has a data base with your info.
