You bet Eddie Peabody was famous.  You only needed to be a fan of country and western OR so-called hill billy music to have heard him.  I remember later seeing him on TV when it was still a new item.  He was very, very good.  Aileen

        ok, I will call her tomorrow & see if she knows if he lived in Portland & let you know. I haven't personally researched him, but now I have began to on-line tonight.  I found he was "The King of The Banjo Players"   I was told he was famous, didn't know he was that famous, neat!!

        Ask your aunt if Eddie Peabody lived in Portland.  I thought he was one of the vaudaville players at the Junior Journal
        show before he went on to become popular.
