Lake County is the 3rd largest county in Oregon. Klamath is to the west and Harney to the east. North is Deschutes and south is Modoc County, Californina.

In 1875 listed as legal voters on the census for that year were the names of M. B. Root and James H. Hoskins.

Root was 35 and Hoskins was 42. They were cattlemen.

Anyone know who they were and their families?
