Nancy: The "Oregon Geographic Names" has no Center, Linn Co. Oregon. However, there is a Central, Linn Co. Oregon. Listed. It was one of the first post offices in what is now Linn, Co. it was established June 13, 1852, Joel Ketchum was postmaster. It was discontinued April 19, 1861. Early maps show the place about nine miles east of Albany and a little south.
Hope this helps you.

Hi,

I just today found my grandmother's brother: Archie Fred Lydall in today's Obits (neat!) & who was born in Wallowa, Oregon, So then I knew he had to be my Lydall family. So I kept on doing my research & I have found him in the 1930 census records as living in Center, Linn Co., Oregon in 1930.
My question is... does any one know where Center is located in Linn Co.?

Thanks! Nancy
