Dale; Try the Oregon State Archives. They do research of the archives
and it might be worth a try  Vital Records
<http://arcweb.sos.state.or.us/vital.html>  .   I did a search on what
is in the data base and didn't come up with everything but there are a
lot of records that are in the archives but not in the data base. There
were death records at that time so it might be there.
