If you are talking about the country of Noray try this site listed in Family Tree Magazine Aug. 2004.
digitalarkivet.uib.no
It is supposed to be the National Archives of Norway.

Was that Norway Oregon, or Norway the country?
If it's Norway Oregon, then try looking in Myrtle Point as the paper and most records can be found there. I live in Myrtle Point so may be able to help if needed. But I suspect your question was for the country.

Thanks; I have my gr-grandfather George Washington
Miller (DOB 2/28/1879. DOD 1/1/1958) listed as living
in Ordnance circa 1940, so I was not sure if it was a
city proper, or a military installation only, or ??? I
would love to have a look at those newspaper photos,
any clue as to which newspaper they were in? This is a
new branch of the family for me, having been long
estranged; I believe I have a cousin in that branch of
the family still in Oregon, Barton Miller, also doing
parallel research. If he is a member of this list or
if anyo ne knows of him, I would love for him to
contact me on or off list to compare notes. Any other
input on Ordnance very welcome!
In additon, can any of you knowledgable folks tell me
where to start on researching some records from
Norway?
Thanks again!
