according to Oregon Burial Site Guide book (I have the book)
located west of Parkersville, off of OR> Hwy 99E on Waconda Road NE, Go
east to the Pioneer School and turn right (south) on 72nd Ave NE to the
Christian Church (1902); the cemetery is on the west side of the road.
The signboard simply says: Pioneer Cemetery. It is on the Daniel Smith
D.L.C. #97, OC #2258 (as of 29 September 1988)(Gervais 1957-85 USGS
Quad. map.)
Go to
http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnispublic/f?p=115:1:12629877747053067928::NO:::
type in Pioneers , then Oregon, then select Marion then select cemetery.
after it comes up, click on Topozone.com link
This is the Pioneers cemetery in question. And it isn't paved over.
And as for the one that's off Bolf Terrace, it is Claggett Cemetery,
also known as Clear Lake or Smith Cemetery. In USGS map site, it's Claggett.
Located in Keizer, the top of a low hill, north of the McNary Golf
Course, west off of Wheatland Road North and on Bolf Terrace Road. The
west portion of the cemetery is within the Alvis Smith DLC #69, OC
#2702. Mrs. Isaac Smith who died in 1841 was the first burial (as of 1
May 1988, Mission Bottom 1967-93 USGS Quad).
