THE OLD WACONDA CEM. where my jarius bonney is supposedly buried is west of
99 and was supposedly on waconda road.i have just the old man i talked with
to fall back on. he was very alert and knew where i could look for more
cems.
gary in az.
don't forget belle passi cem in woodburn or just south of them, and hubbard
pioneer. i have a lot of people buried at both places. if you check at
belle passi you will find a memorial grave listed under jarius bonney and
his brother dr. truman augustus bonney. more than 60 years ago the ladies
that ran the bonney reunions did a search for either one of these men and
found neither. the man that donated the land for mac laren school for boys
in woodburn was a grandson or son of dr. truman bonney. there is a small
gravesite on the grounds of the school with two or three broken grave
markers. it has been ASSUMED for many years that one of them is dr. truman
a. bonney. they called him dr. but he was not a graduated m.d.
