[or-roots] Canada--Ezra Burkholder

Karen,
I don't want to put a damper on things, but have you read the 1930 census on
Ezra Burkholder? Clearly the Census takers or the information gave to them
at the time is not consistent on all the different census years..
 
1930 Census, Needy, Clackamas Co., OR.
Ezra Burkholder born in Ohio, Father born unknown & has US scribbled into
the word unknown, Mother born Canada.
                                 And nothing at all is marked in this 1930
census about the Citizenship Columns.. or if Naturalized.

Sounds to me like someone didn't want to bother looking.   Now that we have
na established who would I send my money to for Ezra if he was naturalized
in 1896, probably in Marion County, Kansas.

The 1900 census says year of immigration - 1873
Number of years in the U. S.  - 27
Naturalization - Na  which I guess just indicates that he is a naturalized
citizen.
