I don't think the Huntley's are the same family line,
but I understand there were several. The families in
the Myrtle Point /Douglas County are were part of
Jeremiah Huntley's family, but I haven't identified
all of his children yet. If your "Frank" is a son of a
Jeremiah, I'd like to know what you have.
Thanks for the comments on the index. I have had one
correction that was wrong in the original book and the
book I indexed, so it is finally being fixed for good!
And, I found out that the first person I showed the
book to turns out to be the author's daughter - she
gushed over the book but never mentioned the
connection! Small world...

I own the Lookingglass Cemetery Book from Douglas Co
(Published 1990 from a physical inventory taken Sept.
1988 & Sexton records). There are no HUNTLEY or LEE
surnames listed. It is not indexed but typed
according to the surname on the tombstone so it is
possible someone could be listed under a married name.
I also have some HUNTLEY's in my family tree of
records. James Franklin "Frank" HUNTLEY (1870-1929)
married my relative Ida CENTERS (dau of Frances Gage &
William Centers). I have done some research on their
specific branch of the HUNTLEY family.
I think your index is nicely done for the Myrtle Point
book.
